Thanksgiving Alkathons are available and helpful!
In the Waiting Room: If an un-named person or male name is in the waiting room, send a chat to the waiting room, requesting that they rename themselves upon entry. Or, admit the person and send them a chat so they can respond.
Example: Hello! Would you please tell me your first name so I can re-name you, and also confirm your reason for joining us today?
Keep your eye on this square / click the three dots "..." in the corner of their square so that you can quickly click "remove."
People who call in by phone: Either send a text message to the phone number or interrupt the meeting to ask them to say their first name so it can be added to their "tile"
During the meeting, periodically scroll back and forth to keep an eye on unfamiliar square and watch for intentionally or unintentionally inappropriate visuals.
Rename people to remove last names or clarify names (for example change "iPhone" to the person's name)
If Zoom Bombing occurs, the host should remove the troll as quickly as possible.
They may change their screen name frequently to hide from you.
If the Host or Chair has time to click "Report" that would be helpful. If not, they can be reported after the meeting. (See below).
