Morning Glories has a monthly commitment at Women Place, one Sunday per month.
The commitment organizer announces the commitment and recruits people to attend. After three months of service organizing commitments, she/they recruit a new organizer to serve for three months.
No orientation is required.
Tuesday mornings: Share on this week's Step or Tradition for 5-10 minutes.
Wednesday mornings: Share your experience, strength & hope for 20-25 minutes. Speaker Meeting Speakers must have 3 months or more of continuous sobriety.
Three months of sobriety and a brief orientation is required before you sign up for the following roles:
Host: Sign in early, start the meeting, and make the chair and Wednesday technical host "co-hosts." Admit people to the meeting, in collaboration with the chair. Share screen during readings. With support from the chair, implement safety procedures. End the meeting or assign a new host.
Chair: Facilitate the meeting by following the meeting script and calling on people who share. Assist the host with admitting people during screen shares and as needed. Mute people who aren't muted and assist the host with safety procedures when possible.
Church Technical Host (Wednesdays only): Attend in person at 11 Garden Street. Set up the Morning Glories laptop and connect to the online meeting.
