This service position requires use of a PC laptop, and a Morning Glories Chromebook has been purchased for this purpose. It's best to sign up for 1 month of service at a time. Please be sure to hand off the equipment to the next person who is signed up for this service role in advance of their meeting date.

Log the Morning Glories laptop into the Church Wifi. The network name and password are provided with the Chromebook.
Connect the HDMI cable dangling from the big TV to your laptop.
Using the remote, select Input HDMI1 to mirror the laptop screen with the big TV. (If the remote control for TV, if it isn't out, is probably in the drawer of the credenza.)
Log into Zoom and then into the MG meeting, and changed your Zoom name to 11 Garden St.
In Zoom, change your speaker to the TV speaker, if needed. Use your laptop’s microphone.

Whoever speaks from the room should sit up front, near the laptop. Turn the laptop camera to the person who is sharing.
Change Zoom view from Speaker View to Gallery View, depending on who was speaking, at your discretion. Speaker View can be used when it is time for Zoom participants to talk, including the Chair. Gallery View can be used when people in the Church speak.
Sharing alternates between Zoom participants and in-person participants. In-person folks can give a little wave to indicate they want to share.
